Major Movie Censor review: Standing ovation

Adivi Sesh starrer upcoming project Major, a patriotic drama inspired by real-life Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is slated to hit the theaters on 3rd June.The latest buzz is that  Major movie has completed the censor formalities in Telugu and Hindi, and received U/A from the CBFC.  The reports are also coming  that censor members have given a standing ovation for Adivi Sesh starrer Major which has Saiee Majrekar and Shobita Dhulipala  in the female lead roles. Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma are playing the important roles in the film, which was co-written by Adivi Sesh.


The big budget drama of Adivi Sesh is directed by Sasi Kiran Tikka , who earlier helmed Goodachari, a hit film with Adivi Sesh and produced by Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies whereas it has the music by Sricharan Pakala.  It has cinematography by Vamsi Patchipulusu.

The movie  Major is an attempt to honor the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who laid his life in the 2008 Mumbai Bomb blasts. The movie was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi while a dubbed Malayalam version will release in Kerala.

Recently during an interview Shobita Dhulipala revealed  that she is playing the role of a hostage who gets stuck in the Taj Hotel.
